FLK Cleanroom Crane
In production environments with extremely high cleanliness requirements, such as food processing plants, semiconductor manufacturing plants, pharmaceutical plants, and precision electronics workshops, ordinary cranes are no longer sufficient. The FLK cleanroom crane was designed specifically for this purpose—through structural optimization, material upgrades, and sealing protection, it ensures that while handling materials, it generates no dust, leaks no oil, and prevents the growth of microorganisms.

FLK Cleanroom Crane Internal Structure
The internal structure of the cleanroom crane has undergone a complete “cleanup” transformation compared to ordinary cranes:
A fully enclosed housing structure is the core design of the cleanroom crane. Transmission components such as the motor, reducer, and gearbox all adopt a fully sealed structure. The housing is filled with grease appropriate to the cleanliness level, ensuring proper heat dissipation while preventing leakage of contaminants such as carbon powder and lubricating oil. Key components such as the gearbox and bearings employ a double-seal design: the first is a contact seal, and the second is a non-contact labyrinth seal, ensuring that contaminants do not escape into the clean environment.
Regarding materials, the main beams, legs, and other major structural components are made of 304 or 316L stainless steel. Stainless steel is not only high in strength and corrosion-resistant, but also resistant to rust and debris buildup over long-term use. The tracks are precision ground, resulting in extremely low surface roughness and effectively reducing dust particles generated by friction during operation. The wheels and track contact points use wear-resistant, low-dust non-metallic materials (such as nylon) or undergo special treatment. The entire vehicle is treated with anti-static agents to prevent static electricity from attracting dust.
The lubrication system employs low-volatility special grease or solid lubrication technology, eliminating pollution caused by the evaporation or dripping of traditional lubricating oil. Electrical components have a dustproof sealing rating of IP65 or higher, and control cables are made of silicone-free, low-halogen materials.
FLK Cleanroom Crane Application Requirements
Different industries have significantly different cleanliness requirements, and cleanroom cranes can precisely match these requirements:
Food Workshops: Constructed with 304/316L stainless steel and featuring an easy-to-clean design, the overall structure is seamless and without dead corners. The smooth surface is easy to wipe and disinfect, making it suitable for raw material transportation, filling equipment hoisting, and other processes, effectively preventing microbial contamination. Cleanliness typically matches ISO 7-9.

Semiconductor Workshops: Wafer handling requires nanoscale shock absorption and extreme cleanliness. The crane uses low-dust materials and a fully sealed structure. Some high-end models are equipped with a positive pressure purification chamber, where the internal air is filtered through HEPA filters and maintained at a higher pressure than the external air to prevent external contaminants from seeping in. Cleanliness can reach ISO 3 (≤35 0.1μm particles per cubic meter) or even Class 100 standards.

Pharmaceutical Workshops (GMP): Aseptic preparations, biopharmaceuticals, and other areas typically require ISO 5-8 cleanliness levels. The crane must be designed to eliminate any obstruction—platforms or supports that accumulate water or dust should be eliminated, and all components should be angled (e.g., cable trays angled at 15°) to ensure complete drainage of liquids during cleaning and prevent microbial growth. Materials must withstand frequent use of steam sterilization or chemical disinfectants (such as peracetic acid).

Precision Electronics Workshops: Used for handling LCD panels, precision instruments, etc. Stable and precise operation is required, with noise levels ≤60 decibels, to avoid vibration affecting surrounding precision equipment. The control system can achieve millimeter-level or even sub-millimeter-level positioning accuracy.

FLK Cleanroom Crane Core Advantages
The cleanroom crane uses a variable frequency speed control system, ensuring smooth lifting and shock-free operation. Its simple, modular design facilitates daily cleaning and maintenance. The equipment operates with extremely low noise, ensuring it will not affect other precision instruments or processes within the workshop. From design, material selection, manufacturing to installation and commissioning, the entire process strictly adheres to cleanroom standards such as ISO 14644, ensuring that the dust particles and microbial content generated during operation meet cleanroom requirements.
Cleanroom cranes ensure that every ton of material handled leaves no trace of contamination.
